Do you believe in friendship at first sight? Have you ever met some one and instantly clicked with them? Had one conversation and felt like you’ve known each other for years?
I can say that I am generally the type of person who trusts people until they give me a reason not to. (I know that can leave room to be set up for the okey doke, but thats just me.) I have met a couple of people very recently, and they all have told me that it feels like they’ve know me for forever. Its like we instantly meshed and became friends. My only issue with this is the issues that I’ve had with past people who I thought were my friends, and they turned out to be anything but. I’m at an age in life where I don’t need any new friends, but then again you never know why God places certain people in your life. I’ve never questioned why God put certain people in my life, and I’ve learned to accept that everyone has a reason and a season. I take my friendships just as serious as I take my relationships and it is just as hard and hurtful for a friendship to end as it is to break up with someone. But, as soon as I get rid of someone in my life who’s season is over, God starts a new season for someone else. I do have my steady friends that have always been there, even if I don’t talk to them everyday and if I haven’t seen them in months. I thank God for all of my true friends, and I’m realizing that those are the friends that I meshed with instantly.
